Recent ones for me would include The Rapture's House Of Jealous Lovers and Stevie Wonder's Uptight. Sir Duke is also a very fun one. But there are definitely a whole lot that work for me.

@avclub-5a36726cd1d9ea6f9e350c2e67a43f18:disqus Yeah, Raimi's just producing this. I'm worried that he might be entering the Wes Craven part of his career, where he's trading on his past successes in horror to just lend his name to really shitty, generic horror films.

@avclub-e129a878f7b0e5aa9ac09e0282f64ea6:disqus Especially when you change it to something as generic as Lawless.

How many A.V. Clubbers out there knew LeVar Burton from Reading Rainbow before TNG? It was really thrilling for me to watch Insurrection as a 9 year old and see that the guy from Reading Rainbow had a part in it, especially since that was one of my favorite PBS shows.

@avclub-6b8aa777ed70e7f15a45947a0f0c5986:disqus True, but I'm coming from the perspective of someone who's seeing Firefly for the very first time and who had seen the film quite awhile before the series.

@avclub-e129a878f7b0e5aa9ac09e0282f64ea6:disqus Conservative documentary about why Obama supposedly sucks and will bring about doom if he's reelected.

This was a pretty fun week for me, although it would have been even more amazing if
I had somehow managed to get tickets for the Doctor Who premiere last week. On
I go though.

@avclub-23bdbd6765499c3d4922cb2821ec26d5:disqus It would seem like the first one would be more of a twist, since I would expect Dujardin's character to die as a possibility from injuries.

As with all films with a twist, I'm curious to know what the twist is even though I have no intention of seeing this film. Also, I'm curious if Jean Dujardin does much in this film, since I figured the main reason it would be brought here to America would be to capitalize on him winning Best Actor this year.
