Congrats to both of you! Fight the good fight. Barring that, feel free to get incredibly wealthy.
@avclub-14072b2ff783182847122db384e8863f:disqus Out of curiosity, what's your objections to Webster? I've only gone there for clubbing, haven't been there to see any shows. I've read reviews that say that the acoustics for shows there are complete crap. But I've generally managed to have fun there the times that I go…
Could be worse. Given that it's Whedon, I honestly thought Jane Foster was a prime candidate to get killed off if she actually made an appearance. Getting sent off to an island is a much nicer fate.
This was a light pop culture week for me. Probably going to be one of my shorter
posts because of that.
Also, in mentioning the cancellation of CSI: Miami and doing my lame Caruso thing, I forgot to say that Rob was also cancelled. This is the one time where it's good that CBS has such a high threshold for success. If Rob had been on NBC, it would be their flagship comedy. On CBS, it gets dumped unceremoniously after…
In addition to the Community news. I just saw that CSI: Miami was cancelled. I guess that David Caruso is gonna need to (puts on sunglasses) go on a nice long vacation.
Pretty good, but it did leave out one of my personal favorites, where a press conference is being held and Perd's first questions starts out, "The statement that this reporter has is a question."
Armageddon Rag, eh? I guess that's what's used to mop up all the gore from when Armageddon comes to Earth.
Can there be a flagged for insanity option?
Ignore the trolls people, ignore the trolls.
Vicks truly is a monster and, while I would always keep an eye on any kids as a general rule, I still doubt that turning away for one second would instantly result in a kidnapping. Just had to make sure this was not the last word. If she or he comes back, I definitely can come back as well.
In addition to what @avclub-fbca7c48c185890bd31f538b91ba5fbb:disqus said, I also think you can tell Rugrats seasons apart by animation style. I feel like there was some change in animation studio, as I seem to recall it getting brighter as things went along. Also, another way to tell was that the actor who voiced…
It is indeed on Netflix. When I'm tired of SF, I'll go for Rockford Files.
This was a really great write-up, even though I'm too young to have seen The Rockford Files. Never even aired on TV Land, at least as far as I know. Definitely am more interested in seeing some episodes. Really looking forward to Rugrats. That'll be the first show for this column that I grew up with and watched pretty…
I have no idea what you're talking about! I'd never mess up something like that.
@avclub-cfe912f5cb3aa572bd1c9ae2a9b82207:disqus I see that Metropolitan is available for streaming on Netflix, so I'll likely see that one again. I'm just curious, how dance heavy is The Last Days Of Disco? Because I really enjoyed the dance sequences in Damsels. Did a great job of capturing the joy of dancing and…
@avclub-ca157d1a1382fd3eb266129b96bdba74:disqus I know what the scene is, having read about it on Wikipedia. It just sounded like an amusing scene that would have been personally worth sticking around for myself.
Maybe because I got them when I was younger, but I have enjoyed the first two volumes of The Essential Avengers, which covers Stan Lee's period and the first part of Roy Thomas' run. I just find that era very fun to get into.
@avclub-fab24a799e65fb1736b8563d2dc2c164:disqus That will come after I finish through Ill Communication. Check Your Head is one I have a hard time getting into at times, although I think this go around might be the one that gets me into it fully.
