@avclub-bbb04f2a70775131fa0397bbdb4c03de:disqus  Is that the one that makes the wibble wobble wibble wobble noise? If so, I have that one and had my family play it at Thanksgiving. Even though it was just a few other family members who really watched and enjoyed TNG, it was still a lot of fun.

@avclub-b0dae075785888267fc19871f3e7dab7:disqus Well, I did go there for the first time last Thursday after the Dr. Who filming. And yeah, it probably is best for late night hours. But the food was solid enough that I'm willing to go in the early evening. Plus, she's an adamant meat lover, which is really nice to see.

This weekend was a bit of a low in pop culture for me. I went clubbing on Friday and to an all female improv open jam session, but with nothing of real pop culture interest. OnSunday, all I saw was some moreDS9 and Doctor Who. Nathan Ford’s Evil Twin, if you’re out there, I definitely am really liking Donna the best

@avclub-3b661d671740495716434a3ba797c6f2:disqus Okay, that is true. I definitely don't think Apatow can be directly blamed for this particular film. It's more that I dislike how people see these successful long comedies and think that, in order to give the people what they want, they need to increase the running time.

@eric827:disqus It was, but not quite to the extent that I'm seeing with Green Acres. It also wasn't as incredibly funny as those clips were.

@avclub-d61db53c8fc6f1258cbfd9bf01a2d1ba:disqus Yay! I'll take it. It's not even my favorite Ben Folds song, but the chorus starts up in my head every time I see the title for this film.

Those clips were the first I've seen of Green Acres and I'm sorry I missed out on it for so long. I was a devoted Nick At Nite/ TV Land fan for awhile and I loved watching a lot of those 60's sitcoms. Yet the only rural one I saw was Beverly Hillbillies, which was decent, but didn't tackle the absurd like Green Acres

@avclub-91546109eaf110327d50b0955865712a:disqus  It's because, when Noel mentioned Greendale as the location for the most Green Acres like show on T.V., he embedded a link to the Community page.

Seriously? Two hours for this? While I've enjoyed a bunch of films, Judd Apatow has a lot to answer for negatively influencing directors who keep thinking that more is better with comedy.

And IIII am, IIIII am, the luckiest for not seeing this film.

I've gone with my dad to see him a number of times. He's a really good performer and a nice guy to meet afterwards for signing things. Best moment I can remember with him was him confiscating a camera from a guy who was very openly taping him in the front row. He then said he didn't want any video proof in case he

@avclub-69514eb1d6291e21ec2df6f143c0e801:disqus Have to send me a copy of that sometime.

@avclub-69514eb1d6291e21ec2df6f143c0e801:disqus  Only in the darkest timeline, my friend.

I'd say my favorite so far has been The Girl In The Fireplace. Probably the most emotionally affecting one I've seen and with a very interesting structure to it.

@avclub-29501df08e5d9ae59e432e4f188d3735:disqus I don't have much to say other than I'm really sorry that both job and girlfriend were lost in the same weekend. I've had both things happen at different times and it does suck. While it's always tough to say just from online exposure, I still feel like you're ultimately

@avclub-b0dae075785888267fc19871f3e7dab7:disqus I wish I had known Guitar Wolf was playing. How were they? I can only imagine how fun they must've been and how loud it would've been.

@avclub-f4c373a8a670ff46865f0a18cd52cef4:disqus I know you're joking, but I honestly did forget to say about watching Miracle At St. Anna in class with my teacher being the screenwriter. But I figured there was enough already to go back and edit it in. There's a reason I really enjoy Todd's writing here.

Since I wasn’t able to respond last week in time due to coming back from Rhode
Island, this gets to be an especially long response. So, here’s a preliminary
tl;dr for all those wisecrackers out there. Here we go.

@avclub-6adbe8b2ab3a52e619c526eff905468a:disqus While I still think the most fun of this movie could be enjoyed by not knowing anything about it, if anyone had explained to me the full premise of this and what happens at the end, I definitely would have gone in expecting to see something really amazing and wouldn't

@avclub-1881baeccb7399f3452cd7f37cdb2b29:disqus Well, from opening day, it's made about $5.5 million, and if the BoxOfficeMojo people are on its way, it's on it's way to making $15 million for the weekend. If that's the case, it's made half its budget back and will at least break even. However, the likelihood of it
