This is me being shallow again, but for similar reasons as for Our Idiot Brother, this film definitely has me interested regardless of what the reviews say.

I hate to be that guy, but just the prospect of lesbianism between Zooey Deschanel and Rashida Jones is more than enough to make sure I see this. Throw in the fact that I think Paul Rudd is a genuinely good guy and I'm still sold.
I feel like I'm obligated to weigh in on this given my username. On first listen, I think it sounds pretty solid. However, I'd say that this track still sounds a bit more like current solo Ben Folds material over the Ben Folds Five years. I'll be curious how the other two new songs like.
For a modern example, there's Incubus. Hit it big with Drive, turn in a much lighter follow up that, while okay, is nowhere as good as their earlier material.
Thanks. I do have that album but I haven't listened to it as much as the others. I just don't find the banter as amusing to listen to. However, there were some stuff on it, and the Stairway To Heaven cover is pretty glorious. I'll have to check it out again.
Journey reminds me of middle school gym and this one teacher playing them all the time. I always found their music so overwrought to be hilarious and thus not too bad to listen to, especially Wheels In The Sky.
@avclub-a576433ccd77ad5fe21cb70af8011038:disqus Where's that cover from? It's not on any of their main albums. I genuinely love Me First And The Gimme Gimmes. They have an uncanny knack of transforming shit into pure musical gold and even good songs get amplified by them.
@MrZ:disqus While it's not showing up for me, I did want to say that I liked your comment and that it makes me laugh whenever I read the Stalin/Attila The Hun comparison.
True, but it is a reposted comment that fits so many of these music threads that it's totally fine to trot it out every so often.
Obviously it's to make sure that the world does not have to be exposed to such specimens of shittiness. So really, you should be thanking wolfmansRazor for his heroic contribution to society.
Same here. Real time updating still needs some work I think.
I would think that mystery would not have as much of a problem with the specific problems that Zach mentions, simply because they're much more self contained as a general. They're not building a true expansive world so much as constructing interesting crimes to be sold. The problem that I can see happening with…
On the plus side, you now can get your ego boosted on a regular basis by your posts getting liked. And isn't that we all want, to be loved? Or is feared? Hmm, maybe we need a fear button.
@Obscure Pop Culture Reference makes a surprisingly good point. Improv Everywhere did a mission, back when they were hoping to get picked up for a television series, where they treated a Little League game like a really big national sport, and it definitely helped bring a lot of joy to the kids playing it:

@Limeade Youth: O'Neal's feature was about covering really obscure cable channels, and the Hispanic channel he covered, Si TV, was a station dedicated to reaching out to Hispanics who don't speak Spanish all that much. Univision is a bit different because it gets a lot more viewers yet is ignored more often than not…
Well, he's disappeared for now, but he does have a film coming out next year and it's going to be in the vein of Ali G Indahouse in being an entirely fictional film. It'll be interesting if that's any better, especially since it doesn't have any of his main three characters.
@Claudia: It seems like many were actually put together from relatively recent showings on the N Network, so even with commercials being removed, there wouldn't be that much that were new about them.
Also, I should say that, while it's of questionable legality, every episode is available on YouTube. It'll be split up into several videos but the option is there.
Well, that would only make sense if the only thing I ever watched was shows from my childhood. It's only a small, yet pretty damn enjoyable part of what I take in and I don't really regret it. And yeah, my reaction was a bit childish and even though I don't know whether you deserve it completely, I apologize to my…
I know I shouldn't respond to the trolls, but I can't help but say that if there's something wrong with getting enjoyment from anything, and I don't give a fuck what it is, then I don't want to live in whatever world you're living in.
