Yeah, I think this was a really good one because of the focus on these characters. It was maybe a tad jarring that the trader kid never really came back into the plot, but I still liked getting a glimpse into all these strange little worlds that the plot isn't that big a deal.

This would be the point where you'd almost want there to be no grades. Except that, as shown in Comics Panel and TV Club Classic, once you eliminate grades, you then get a bunch of people complaining about how there aren't grades anymore. It's kind of a no-win situation.

Really, I'd say just about all of Adam West's career post Batman is based on self-awareness. Shatner as well, although I'd also cite Free Enterprise as a film showing some self-awareness on his part. Certainly you have to be willing to play up your perception as an egomaniac to play along with advocating for a one man

Read That His Landlords Are Trying To Evict Him
Just goes to prove his point, the rent really is too damn high!

How Is I'm A Slave 4 You Rousing?
It could be that it's been a while since I've heard it, or snippets of it, but I don't know in any way how I'm A Slave 4 You could fit any definition of rousing that I've heard.

I still think some of the later ones are pretty solid. The show may have been at it's best early on, but there was usually a really memorable image to get stuck on. As I said, from the Driver's Ed episode, I love the virtual reality driving simulation a lot. And the wrestling episode that someone else mentioned was

@whataworkout: Something like the analysis that Unregistered Guy Named Eric does below, or even something like what Noel Murray does for his shows. It just seems a bit fuller to me.

What's kind of weird about Slurm in the Driver's Ed episode is that it starts at the beginning with Big Pete really hating Slurm again, basically forgetting the whole ending of this episode and how he really isn't that bad a guy. It comes to the ending for Big Pete to learn the exact same thing again. A little

As much as I do like most of the staff's writings here, I do have to agree that I feel like The Adventures of Pet And Pete are often treated as a bit unequal compared to some of the other shows here. I mean, this one only goes into four measly little paragraphs. If it really is as great and worthy of analysis, which I

@Binky: There actually is another episode with Slurm in the third season, where he teaches Drivers Ed. However, what I was surprised to find out when I rewatched it was that it was a different actor playing Slurm, something I didn't piece together as a kid. Anyone have any info about why that happened? Still a good

@Dr. Zoidberg: Well, keep in mind that Noel actually gave this a positive write-up when he saw it at Sundance this year. And looking at the early reviews on Metacritic shows that it currently has a score of 64, which means that it's definitely a film that's going to be a mix of reactions. I still think it could be

But

Well, the trailer seemed to imply that Caesar takes the initiative to try and make more of his fellow captive apes to become super intelligent. It's still hard to see how they'd fare against human weaponry, but I'm willing to give it a chance.

While I know it's a pipe dream, and I also know all the episodes are on YouTube, I still think it would be awesome for Space Cases to be shown on Teen Nick. I absolutely loved that show and I wish it had gone on longer than just the two seasons it was given. I wanted to see them get home. Is that so wrong?

On The Lie Detector Note
I saw a Penn & Teller: BS episode that made the claim that lie detectors are really awful ways for determining whether or not someone is lying, since it's primarily a measure of fear, and people can be scared of many things other than telling a lie. Similarly, good liars can give off no traces

Strangely Positive For A B- Review
Sorry to bring up the grades. But it really does read more like a B or B+, unless the ending was that bad that it's only partially reccomendable. Which could be understandable, except that it doesn't read that way at all.

Another point in Season 3's favor, which I saw on YouTube for the first time: Mr. B Natural. Wow, just wow. Even without the riffing going on, that is an absolutely amazing short. When you just add in Joel and the bots joking about how everyone should be reacting to the insanity, it's just absolutely glorious.

Plus, in a thread under Secret Cinema, Keith revealed that the comments are going to be register only in the future, so it might as well be done now to get things out of the way when the unregistered free future arrives.

But as a great man once said, don't take my word for it.
