The problem with Andy is that they did spend last season fleshing him out only to discover he was a comedy black hole that destroyed episodes faster than you can blink.

Except for the fact that she had just gotten engaged to Jim a month before. Even they realized how improbable that story was by abandoning it before it went anywhere.

Toby had no problem firing Roy after his aborted attack on Jim.

The version of Jim on this episode was completely out of the blue for me. This douche was invented for the sole purpose of trying to make the Brian story more palatable. They have done this in the past just for the joke, but every time it just takes me out of the show.

@avclub-256746d11f6954aabd1092266578be0d:disqus  I found the S6 Sabre stuff to be almost as bad as this year. They had a good idea about a company takeover, but just completely botched it. There was a real chance there to shake up the office, divide it into two divisions and explore the tension that would result, but

I saw it as a horrifying possibility, but was hoping they would avoid it. They let me down.

Yeah, how was that warehouse guy not summarily fired? Even if there wasn't a mural there, I don't think you're allowed to just spray paint the walls where you work.

Holy crap, I should have caught that!
