They had the sense to abandon that ridiculous plotline after two episodes. If this lame Brian stuff shows up again (and I'm sure it will) then it will be easily worse.

Thank you for pointing out the writer's inability to understand how a normal place of business works. There could have been an interesting story about how the office slowly collapses and folks like Jim jump ship, but instead we are going to get this warmed over S2 Pam stuff.

Yeah, I have to admit to being hopeful they weren't going to do the most obvious thing possible with Brian. My faith in Greg Daniels is shaken. You can see the beats of this lame story coming a mile away.
