I liked the wacky antics in "Lice" more than the wacky antics this week. I wasn't overly fond of Erin's return to stupidity. It says something about the writer's inability to imagine actual work environments that the only job they can come up with for Pam involves receiving pens.
Wait, this show isn't a parody of itself already? Who knew?
@disqus_okgItcD0yy:disqus The reason I dislike their relationship so much is that it has basically been nonexistent. They were dating for about three episodes in S6 until the Angela-induced breakup and didn't get back together until late last year. The reasons for them not dating appeared to due to nothing approaching…
Only S3 Andy was a worthwhile character. Since then they keep rebooting his personality for whatever plotline they need him for. Since I found the Andy/Erin relationship boring from its S5 introduction through every lame twist, I am more than happy that Helms's movie career has kept him off the show so much this…
You might want to get some therapy for your hatred of a sitcom character.
Yeah, the review really overemphasized the extent that this day was threatening their marriage. For years people have been complaining that Jim and Pam have become boring, only existing to prank Dwight and look down on their co-workers. The problem was that the show refused to show anything of their lives outside of…
Maybe they are ignoring the Ed Helms as the center of the show because they realized, like everyone else in the know universe, that last season was terrible to watch?
I think that people are over estimating the degree that this separation is causing a huge rift in their relationship. Jim has a great opportunity, but they need to make some sacrifices for it to work. People do this sort of thing all the time. It may suck at the time, but normal people are able to work this sort of…
I agree. Erin's intelligence increase this season has been a nice change. Rooting for the romantic interests of an idiot was difficult especially when paired with Andy. This version of Erin is a lot easier to take.
I also don't get the reviewer's sense that Jim having a good day in Philly is some huge stress on their marriage. Sometimes things just work out that way and while Pam may be pissed that she's home alone with the kids, married couples negotiate obstacles like that all the time. If every relationship was threatened by…
What is the time limit for spoilers? I mean Lost ended over two years ago. Get to work.

This was a mildly funnier take of "It's Complicated". Same assholish overprivileged clowns complaining about how they can't make their BMW payments.

You're forgetting about three different obstacles in their boring story.

I agree that they have played the Andy/Erin stuff as sincere over the past 3 or more seasons, but without any idea of where the story was supposed to go. I think they wanted it to try and duplicate the Jim/Pam story, but given that both were always single there really wasn't any tension that made any sense. In the end…
