exactly, i was willing Merle to say something about that but plot expediency dictated otherwise i guess.

maybe he kind of liked Martinez. he probably figured taking out the governor would do the job, and he almost had him.

the over-analysis on here is getting really tedious. "Merle’s sudden decision that he absolutely has to go to the meeting spot and get revenge is arbitrary and doesn’t go anywhere" - why does it have to go somewhere? i thought it was a tense moment and for a while i thought the episode was probably going to end with

sure is nice of the Governor to give the Prison folk time to stockpile weapons.

and the guy in the tower - WTF??

that ending was gut-churning, but a few things don't make sense about it.

Not sure what's more racist at this point, the WD writers or the jokes in the comments (Woodbury T-Dogs etc). probably the latter
