Oh hey, what's this penis doing here?
Where are the electrons? Where are the electrons?!
I'm a bit conflicted, because while this was a weaker P&R episode, it was still much funnier than other shows getting a B- (say, The Office). I would say that the review overall was a bit harsh and built mainly on criticisms of Ann and the B-story that, though consistent with last week, didn't make it *that* much…
YES, easily the best episode this season and probably my favorite thus far of the series. The show is really excellent if you invest some time in it.
Upvoted.
I think the grades are less of an indictment against the show being funny (because it still has some great moments) and more about how the overarching story and characters have become very tired and one-dimensional. Maybe they always were, but it has definitely become more evident in the past few seasons.
I feel like I'll probably tough this season out, but (finally) drop it only when I have something good to replace it with. None of the new comedies out right now have really impressed me much.
At least Barbra got what was coming to her. Least favorite movie character ever.
Yeah, that ending was harsh. "I guess I should have waited 5 minutes before killing my family and that old couple."
It's from a really obscure Newswire, you probably haven't heard of it.
I absolutely agree with this. I think one of the biggest problems the show is having this season is that the non-Dunphy families have become uninteresting, un-evolving caricatures - kind of like what happened to most of the characters on The Office (and maybe why it is so bad now).
Logically, now that the majority here on AVC love it the haters have gotten more vocal.
Mouthing the word "ROBIN!" in reruns of Bryan Adams' '(Everything I Do) I Do It for You' video.
Gary, Indiana, is nothing but a dark, dark nightmarish place.
For me I think the distinguishing point generally comes around the entrance of bestiality.
Vicky Cristina EVIL
That does bring up the interesting question - who is the white LeVar Burton?
Laura Dern taught me that the Onion was an important social commentary.
I'm not sure that I remember Captain America and the Human Torch ever banging in the comics, but I could have been reading the wrong ones.
