That whole episode is the finest 30 minutes of sustained comedy ever filmed.

Acroyear story arc - starts off as a lackey of Baron Karza, but eventually reveals he is a good guy. Karza labels him a traitor and he becomes an outcast, with only his wife not turning her back on him. Also, Biotron and Microtron do some Artoo/Threepio schtick.

That was definitely one of the most off-putting things about the original Mr. Show. That, and the complete lack of rape jokes.

To be fair, folks would buy the shit out of an AC/DC country album. A mopey AC/DC electronica album, however, would go over about as well as Adore.

I believe 1979 is one of the greatest American rock songs. I put it in the same class as anthems like Born to Run and American Girl — it captures the ache and yearning of youth and wanting to find yourself, and it doesn't skimp on the hooks.

Not sure how much of a chance One Day at a Time has in an AV Club poll, since most of the readers here were probably born after the show was cancelled. Still, it gets my vote, because Schneider.
