My next door neighbor growing up had the NES abomination too. One summer we actually sat and forced ourselves to play it to completion. Once you understood the janky physics, power-up system, and where to go in the maze levels it wasn't that hard. Needless to say haven't returned to the game since.

Finally got around buying a PS4 for myself and starting Dark Souls 3 as well. Even though, I'm a little late to the fray the extra break has been good for me (after I shook off some rust). Really enjoying it and trying to make it my first Souls experience free of online hints when the going gets tough. Hope to wrap it

Be good to yourself and seek new experiences. Surround yourself with people you care about. It will definitely pass at some point - like waiting for hiccups to end. As soon as you are legitimately distracted by something else they seem to pass but you can't will them away.

I agree. I tend to think 'Taker wins since there's no other way to create an organic feud for him and Cena. Possibly 3-way with Styles for the belt at 'Mania.

MVP - AJ Styles. I never followed him in the indies but definitely became a believer. Most matches he puts on are entertaining as hell and tell a good ring narrative.

I was at the taping last night but got there an hour into the show (whoops). Can't wait to watch it tonight and hear AJ on commentary.

Go Dukes! Beat the Bearkats (what a spelling!) Class of '06!

File "Maps" in the "Songs Ruined for me by Guitar Hero/ Rockband" group.

"Do you Realize?" by the Flaming Lips. Between the car commercial and just their post Yoshimi output, it's hard for me to get too excited about it these days. Great song though.

Always surprised how quickly and free of infection that people on this show survive non-fatal gunshots. Like a wrestler who quits selling a body injury halfway through the match.

The four kings fight was not my favorite. Short of spamming spells/pyro/healing I can't beat it. Also never would've found that fight if not for the internet…DS1 first play through was something else, man.

Ground Bison (perfect lean meat for slow cooking!), fresh chopped carrots (earthy taste!), and pretty much standard fair after that. Also need a bread carb for dipping and cheese for artery clogging.

If you had told me in 2001 that there would still be interest in Jimmy 15 years later, I'd probably believe you because I was young and naive.

Like a lot of you, Halloween has given me a serious Castlevania itch. I'll probably finish my replay of Symphony of the Night and maybe finish my first play through of Order of Ecclesia. I'm happy Ecclesia more or less ditches the castle for a more level based experience. Then maybe some NES 'vania…but probably next

Random take away but the fact they even acknowledged "Hollywood" Hogan's existence by showing that clip of him and Goldberg means he's close to a full pardon. I'm sure WWE is itching to crank out new Hogan merch.

Every year I look forward to the THoH Halloween episodes and even with adjusted expectations for 2016 found this episode to be quite bad. Got me in the mood to watch a few of the older ones though!

The Mountain Goats particularly "We Shall All Be Healed" album is my go-to album for taking a road trip through country roads (particularly Rt. 29 through VA). Made a lot of these trips in college and it still resonates with me.
