@Steffs

@BeccaM

I didn't quite feel the "power of love" theme tonight in the way you guys are talking. I'm with Noel in loving the hell out of this episode, and rank it in Top 10-15, easy. I think the reason I wasn't feeling the "love is the key to everything" bit is because love wasn't used exactly as a reason to do or not do

@Skipskatte

Jumping back into what I started, I wonder what the gender breakdown is for all of you? I find females gravitate toward DEATH PROOF for obvious reasons while men prefer the "shit actually happens" PLANET TERROR. Is that what's going on here? I should have made you all specify your genders. Any guys who are DEATH PROOF

Well the Candidates are the corks. Going back to the bottle metaphor, the bottle is the island, the wine is Smokey trying to escape, and the cork is what's keeping him there. If Smocke can kill off all candidates or convince them to leave the island, then the cork is removed.

Mikhail and Keamy
I am a sucker for these pop-up cameos that are clearly meant as funsies for us viewers. It's not necessary to link the cast with special guest stars in each episode's sideflashes, they could all easily be anyone else, but I'm having a fun time seeing old faces! Getting to see Mikhail again tickled me

That's exactly what I thought! And then I remembered the dude was totally in Chicago two weeks ago. You comments people should all pool your money and get him a sympathy kitten.

Hey, he actually used the word "talks." Is "communications" the PC term now?

He's been trying to make '1906' happen for a while, but rumors are that the studio doesn't trust him with the price tag ($200 million). I wouldn't be surprised if he's putting that on the back burner so he can prove he can do live action with this.

When I heard it was called "The End" all I could think of is they don't want to go anywhere near spoiling us about anything. "The End" is the most obvious and secretive title they could come up with.

RE: Finale episode title

How would a younger Hanso get his hands on the first mate's diary when the first mate was killed by Smokey and his diary is in the Black Rock. I'm beginning to wonder if Charles Widmore made a lot of money by selling stuff from the Black Rock.

@Chris Moore

Scooby Doo killed the careers of everyone involved. And then they did a fucking sequel. They all double tapped their careers.

I don't care if I'm ruining endings for people here, Rebecca Gayheart is no good movie's villain.

It's unbelievable that Sidney Prescott would even be mentally functioning on all cylinders after what she's been through. At the _very_ least, Scream 3 tried to touch on her mental status. However, since "Sidney gone crazy" was the suggested "killer's perfect ending" at the conclusion of Scream 3, I don't know if

Persistent, nagging thoughts
Could Smokey previously morph into anyone he wanted, like Isabella, or did the form he take have to be of someone who was dead on the island? Because all previous forms taken by the Smoke Monster were always people who had died on the island only, or whose bodies were on the island at
