Yeah. That's the one that gets anthologized alot. I'm not even sure how I came across Ligotti. Sometimes, I'm not entirely sure he exists. Do people, in general, know about him? It seems like some people, a few, read him and think he's the greatest writer of horror in the universe and others…have never heard of him.

What? No love for Thomas Ligotti? For my money, The Shadow at the Bottom of the World is one of the best horror shorts of the last century.

In that vein, The Willows by Blackwood. Just fantastic. When i was a kid, I had a neighbor who was into that sort of British horrior. Machen's The Three Imposters really hooked me. I still love those stories. The King in Yellow was cool. The best part is that you can find most of it free to read these days.
