"The only thing that can save his life is the super-serum Ray obtained from the Nazis…"

The problem with 'Heroes' is that the writers had active contempt for their audience. Eventually they admitted that they wrote, at best, only about four episodes ahead, but anyone who tried to follow its arcs already knew that.

I give them credit for improving. I'm actually old enough to remember Richard Pryor in Superman III, who discovered he was a brilliant computer hacker by… sitting down in front of a computer and pressing a bunch of keys. After all, you can sit a genius in front of a piano and they'll play it perfectly, right?

It means she gets RESULTS, you stupid chief!

Agreed. Guy Felicity FTW.

"How did I know the Supergirl you had in my office at the same time as you was fake, Kara? Oh, I don't know. Maybe I was fooled… until I saw footage of an alien shapeshifter who could fly fighting Supergirl a few weeks later. Give me some ****ing credit here."

Well, now we know where all of The Flash's fun and joy went.

Time travel rules in the Arrowverse:

Speaking of guys who abuse women…

"Speaking of which, between Lena and Teshmacher that’s two more white women added to a cast filled with white women."

"The fact that it is not a big deal to me personally sort of goes to prove my point, though, doesn't it?"

"… than just having the victim sit out of being on social media for a little while?"

"I suppose the difference is that you are assuming that being on social media is the base state, whereas I do not."

Absurd reasoning. If you've been abused to the point you quit social media, you're still being cyber-bullied.

"Of course I agree that it would be better for people not to bully
people, but that's not something that the bullied person can control,
nor will horrible people ever stop being a thing."

Yes, telling a child who's already being abused to isolate themselves even more by going off social media sounds like the best solution.

While this "can't take the heat stay out of the kitchen" approach to the Internet is the philosophy that gave us the Algonquin Round Table paradises that are 4chan and reddit, both the show and the reviewer are completely off-base. In short, this is a load of old toss.

"The first half of his Amazing Spider-Man (with John Romita Jr.) is pretty remarkable and underrated."

That's no boom mic, it's a… dammit. I had something for this.

The Big Belly Burger in Star City is better. And you can park your mom's yellow Hummer there without it getting smashed.
