I agree - "Ellen will win a few battles", but Patty will win the case seems likely. (Perhaps they both reunite, though, and hunt down McClaren together, as a potential fairy tale ending.)

Man, I don't know… I guess if you feel that way, a lot of other people do as well (a look at the ratings suffices). I have a severe blind spot when it comes to The Big Bang Theory humour. Those laughs are so cheap, most of the time. Honestly, the success of TBBT over PR tells me that people would rather watch a bunch

Oh holy Lucifer, The Big Bang Theory over Parks and Recreation? That deserves an Emmy for Best Laughing Stock right there.

Heh, might be. I was wondering what that photo was, as well.

This episode's done right by me. I found it brimming with tension as a wide roster of characters is introduced, all of whom seem to tie into some bigger picture - very reminiscent of Season One. There also seems to be more of a network of storylines than individual threads.

I don't want to get too deep into this, because there's several issues here that would probably send us deeply down the rabbit hole, but I do want to make clear: I absolutely think that killing an animal is horrible. But I do think it's valid to say that the assassination of Naomi is a darker act than that of

Of course you're right: With the Patty and Ellen relationship becoming less central, the focus on the case becomes stronger, so it's almost natural if people get upset about the inferior legal drama.

Killing a dog is significantly different from killing a human. I think a lot of people would be prepared to kill an animal given the right stakes, whereas the percentage would be a lot lower with killing a human. Don't get me wrong, the notion horrifies and sickens me, but that doesn't change my perception of humanity

The first Season of Damages is the best of TV I've yet seen. I'm writing this so it's clear where I'm coming from and anyone can decide on how valuable my opinion is to them.
