If a Brit buys it, they would be required to display it in public around 100 days of the year. So there's that. And also why maybe no one has leapt forward to purchase it in the UK yet.

But I am said they made a Peaches reference and no Peaches song.

Why limit it to Family? Fuck ABC. They killed a record number of shows for me this year: Apartment 23, Happy Endings, now this. And I still haven't forgiven them for Better Off Ted.

I found an article about what's accurate and not in the show. Many of the prison admin details are accurate. If you have completed your transition, you are housed with women. Thank God Sophia was arrested after that, because if you still are pre-op, you get housed with dudes. I can't even imagine how wretched that

My nominee would be Sheryl Lee in the cinematic prequel to the TV show, Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me. The movie is so obnoxiously bad and disjointed, it gives new meaning to the word unwatchable. Yet Sheryl Lee was brilliant in it and that part had to be almost unactable. It's a shame she's barely been in anything

You are right. This is an objectively better show. Yet it wildly veers from sort of interesting to uncompelling to strictly hate-watch every few minutes. I'm teetering on the edge of breaking this habit. I might just read the recaps for a while.

I will say that that I'll be extremely disappointed at this point if Ben were to be Warlow. It would be too obvious now.

Lafayette's speech to him, "I'll hit you in the face with a bottle. That was a threat. Forget about werewolves was some motherfucking advice" was a great Lala moment.

Nevermind that TB just cannot do political analogies well (the "Gods Hates Fangs" stuff was mildly amusing but that Iraq War plot last season was too stupid to know how borderline offensive it was.) But are we now to equate vampires with Holocaust victims? Because, no.

I really can't tell sometimes if this show is serious or it's parodying itself.

Yeah, as usual I'm very confused. After the whole Authority plot line last year, why wouldn't we side with the humans?

It does make watching it a peaceful affair. I mean, I love Breaking Bad, but I think that show has shaved minutes off my life. If my favorite character died on TB, I'd be mildly put out.

I saw Steve in the description for next week's ep.

Warlow's a vamp as far as we know, so I don't think so? However, they definitely have to be related.

Hah! I watched The Secret Circle. You gotta scratch that supernatural gibberish itch somewhere while hoping against hope that this one could be the next Buffy.

I've been an Alcide fan and it's been lonely on this board (I'll admit I enjoy Joe Mangeniello shirtless, but also Alcide in the books is a character who serves a narrative purpose and I'm an optimist.)

I wonder if he's going to turn up being related to Warlow somehow, since they both popped up at the same time.

Niall was a good guy in the books, although that means nothing.

@avclub-56dfc41867dc4d05e285222c24c4e7c2:disqus : Jason spent a night worrying he was going to change and happened upon Alcide and one of his skanky girlfriends who told him he couldn't catch it from a bite.

Who is this PTC guy's cable provider?
