Ah, right, thanks for that. I think they made the right decision - the scene is messed up but it's messed up from the start. Trimming it down wouldn't make a difference to the scene's impact, if anything it becomes less shocking and verges on comedic the longer it goes on.

Being called Michael is really going to make me miss half the jokes by shouting out 'Hey, that's the name of the episode!' throughout.

No! No, no, not 5! He said 6. Nobody's comin' up with 5. Who watches a film in 5 minutes? You won't even get your story goin', not even a mouse on a wheel!

Shouldn't you have made that script cover in a cave?!

I don't think that's true - the website says it was passed uncut and there's no mention that it was 'pre-cut' either (which they'll usually mention if it was the case - e.g. Hunger Games).

Do you mean what they've cut from this film or do you mean past experience of BBFC cutting? The BBFC website says it passed Killer Joe uncut.

He was incredible in that film. Perfectly nailed every single aspect of that character. In the baptism and the final scenes he should, by rights, have been eclipsed by Day Lewis' grandstanding but he holds his own brilliantly.
'Miss Temple's' certainly passed me by until now, even though there's no other reason to mention it apart from the joke.
