Agreed, and front's character gets a hell of a lot more character development. Her situations with her family and commitments aren't laid on thick but they role they play in interferring with her political career is spot-on. I thought I'd miss Abbott - and he really is a fantastic character and well played - but

I went to see him last year, doing a warm-up gig to his main tour. Sadly I had to leave before he got to the proper material but he just riffed for about 45 minutes (in place of an opening act) on anything the audience wanted to talk about, mostly politics. Christ, the guy knows his stuff. Really impressive.

it may not be 'better' than the first two Godfathers (or GoodFellas) but my favourite gangster film will always be The Long Good Friday. I absolutely love that film, one of my top ten favourites ever made.

In a similar vein, if a character is going to turn up that we're not expecting don't put the actor's name in the opening credits. Wait until the end and put a 'Special Guest Star' credit up. Lost was awful at this (oh, who's ont he sub? Well, Alan Dale hasn't turned up in the previous 40 minutes so I guess it's him!)

And fuck you too, Lost. Breaking Bad, you're not exactly innocent. And where are you going, Game of Thrones?

I can understand the point and yes, a good film will have a lot more to appreciate than just what happens at the end. But the majority of films are still there to tell a story - it's their primary function upon which everything else is built upon. So why spoil the enjoyment of watching that story unfold and

Hey, your editing makes my joke looks nonsensical!

For the full Philip Seymour Hoffman experience those posters had better be affixed to the lockers with ejaculate.

You've mispelt 'Batman' and the preferred acronym of The Animated Series is TAS.

Damn it, your pre-emption ruined the fun. I read the whole article wondering when the first "and I stress the word *artist*" would crop up in the comments and you've cock-blocked them all.

Nostelgia or tumors be damned, it's a great song. Second verse especially.
