I don't agree with TVDW about Brent's speech being the most cringeworthy part of the series - for me that's the motivational speaking seminar which I struggled through the first time I saw it. But I do think the speech is the best mix the show ever got of being cringeworthy and hilarious at the same time. Both are

I'm hoping to meet Ian McKellen next week and, although I'll be too busy geeking out over him being Gandalf, I have demanded my girlfriend asks him how he acts so well.

I still find myself occasionally saying "Ssssshaturday" when it gets mentioned in day-to-day conversation. It's rare that I realise if the other person doesn't get it that I'm just coming across as weird as Gareth.

I think the difference between the gay jokes and the black man's cock joke is that the Neil's gay reference at least is just a cheeky bit of fun told with a wink in a setting where a bit of laid-back, Carry On-style style is helping keep the atmosphere light on what could be a difficult day. Plus Neil's just playfully

Oh, Victor's dead. You killed him when you left the door open with the air conditioning on.

Grooming. Especially when The Master Groomer gets hold of the heart ring and uses it for evil.

Hedwig's theme is in DH2 and is used very well to contrast moments of brightness in amongst the gloom.

Fair enough. I'd heard that the BBC version was longer but the Starz one was more graphic. Happy to hear it's a big fat lie.

"Here's a little something for your troubles. (It's money)"

Starz Vs BBC
Has anyone watched the two versions of the first episode? I haven't started the series yet and was wondering if there was any advice on which one to keep up with. And advice on which is better?

Not just lovely nudity but classic non-nudey bits of films too - we had a vintage print of Jaws a couple of years back (before digital re-releases became the norm) and the shots of Ben Gardener's head and the chumming reveal were gone.

@Bridge Toll - you get to stand amongst the ruins of your game, turn to any survivors and, with your best grim face, yell in a dramatic fashion

'You get stuck in a gang-run retirement home. Waste an hour.'

There's been a lot of lies with O'Neal. And a lot of love.

I'm halfway through at the moment. The villains are interesting and creepy but Bond comes across as a smug, neverwrong prick who's never in any danger and all of his spying involves using an app on his phone. Seriously, I bet the word app gets used almost as much as Bond in the book.

I worked in a cinema when Signs came out and watched it on a packed opening night and it was incredible to be with a huge audience during the big jump scenes - towards the beginning when the dog suddenly barks and later in the film when the alien appears on the home video. So much so that, whenever I was working, I'd

Agreed. I've only ever seen this film at home but the scene is still the second best in the film and definitely the most tense.

Hmmm, I didn't realise I had so much to say about Scream 4.
