I totally agree. To be clear I was a Friends hater, but now I mostly find it to be a light comedy show that just isn't for me. But can still sell the hell out of a punchline.

I will confess to being one of the Friends haters when the show was on air. It ran for essentially the period I started my freshman year of high school to my senior year of college and I remember being worn down by the pop-culture zeitgeist that surrounded it.
