Just FYI, it's Fuller.
Just FYI, it's Fuller.
I'm usually very good about watching shows as they air, but because I was introduced to Breaking Bad by binging on the first four seasons, it's become the only way I can watch the show.
I'm glad to know others are a little frustrated too. There's little to no discussion about mobile on the site, which is curious given the highly active user base.
I don't know if what's a good place to ask this question, so I'll just plop it here.
Yeah, I didn't get that at all. The way it was shot definitely made it feel like there was some subterfuge on Frye's part in his conversation with Santi.
I'm cringing just thinking of it. I hope this never comes to be.
The debate is over a Scenic Routes Mike D'Angelo wrote a while ago.
Ahaha. I'm glad this was brought up, but we don't want to scare Scott from the comments section yet.
This is really cool. As an engineer I'm a sucker for metrics in art. Any additional resources you can point me to in order to learn more?
It's the definitive Breaking Bad shot for me. It embodies everything that makes the show great - the direction, Cranston's acting, the escalating tension that periodically explodes in fury.

Yeah, I don't get it at all. It makes zero sense.
Sonya's type is whatever cute guy gets her attention first when she's interested in having sex.
Thank you so much for taking your time to not only write all of this but also being so willing to discuss this in such a personal way.
@avclub-90248d0a98105fa534cf2b0696ddd12f:disqus You could see Marco shaking his head as well. The show could easily have Marco the bumbling across the border fool in this situation but I'm glad they've continued in their establishment of Marco as a guy who's great with people at work and completely hopeless at home.
Thanks for setting this up. I'm at the point where I'm feeling pretty good at my ability to grasp almost all story-related things that a show is trying to achieve but finer details like framing elude me. This feature should help me learn a lot more.
Sidenote: I was wondering what your take was on Sonya's reaction to her coworker referring to her as the "village idiot savant". You've written beautifully about Sonya's perspective in previous episodes and I'm hoping you'll share your thoughts on this one as well.
I like it, but I think it has a limited timeframe within which it needs to expire or the show suffers.
I totally dismissed all the speculation as well and I'm glad I did because this reveal works a lot better when you don't see it coming.
I'm so glad that's the direction the writers took with this. I was expecting the tunnel storyline to be a straight up bust. Working in Fast and Furious was a nice "ripped from the headlines" move that I'm a fan of when executed well.
