Thanks for the read. I grew up watching 13 as a kid and it'll always be the channel with the weekend morning cartoons but this story is so terribly sad.

I actually rather enjoy those moments in Borgen when Birgitte and Kasper decide to put some serious machinations into play.
I can't wait to see some long tracking shots in Gravity. I've been told that there are some teasers of those out on the movie's website but I want to wait to actually see the movie in theatres.
I didn't hate it either. I didn't love it. But I didn't hate it.
When/how/where do meetups get planned?
I was wondering why this post was shorter than most. Enjoy London, @avclub-0ae7484a9f3bbd2a21df420050c032ae:disqus .
Wow, it's so on point.
Excellent points. These are also things to consider. It's easy to forget, or at least it's something I don't always keep in mind, that Birgitte is not the traditional kind of person who fills this office.
I don't know if this is something that I believe just because of The West Wing, but my understanding of the inner workings of the White House is that The Office of the President is treated with great respect. Even close aides will comport themselves in a manner befitting that office.
I started out thinking that the split would be between "prestige" shows on FX and the money grubbing ones on "FXX". That way Louie and The Americans coulld be on a different channel from Anger Management. However, it's looking like Archer's also heading to FXX and it's a critic darling so I had to throw away that…
@avclub-9cd818ea56273170b63f339aa6f34bca:disqus Oh dear. What is this place turning to. Are we now allowed to elaborate on our Ava and Winona thoughts?
Yes Adlon is indeed fantastic on Louie, and other things too.
You're probably just into DC fashion in general. It continues to be a more formally dressed city than most others, although the fits continue to be sacky and lumpy. Somehow no one by the lobbyists have caught on to dressing well in addition to dressing up.
Adam Driver is actually pretty darn great.
I have no doubt that one of Cuaron's unbelievably long takes in Gravity is going to be among my favorite pop culture things of 2013.
Paging HBO CEO of Tits.
Ashgar Farhadi - The Past
The Coen Brothers - Inside Llewyn Davis
Alfonso Cuaron - Gravity
How'd you like Only God Forgives? I caught an early afternoon show a couple of weeks ago when it premiered at the Lincoln Center. I don't know if it's because I was fasting (it's currently Ramadan) but the movie more hollow than Drive.
I rather enjoyed Boston Legal when I first watched back when I was in high school. It was the first show I really fell in love with the characters.
It's really started to go downhill this season.
