Rectify is definitely more of a watch the whole thing over the weekend show.

If it goes to Downton Abbey I will break something.

Hannibal's been ridiculously successful overseas and isn't produced by NBC so it should here for a few more seasons.

That category was really tough though, so I can see how they missed out.
I did however think it had by far the best cinematography on television so it's still disappointing.

At least they've started recognizing the joy and sadness that is Louie. Lots of love all around for the show with the notable exception of not just throwing the Best Guest Actress in a Comedy Series award at Parker Posey.

Walton Goggins and Mads Mikkelsen for Best Supporting Actor
Maslany who @disqus_5iPX2cyzfR:disqus is rightfully pissed about.

I just watched the pilot for Orange is the New Black and I'm already falling in love with it. The show has only just begun touching on the issue of race, but clearly it's going to be a very important theme and it'll be nice to see the issue examined outside of the testosterone charged male prison environment where

BBC America isn't actually responsible for production of the show. It's done by a Toronto based company Temple Street Productions that I believe is also responsible for Canada's Next Top Model among other ventures.

I'm a little late to this, but I'll join the Garza appreciation thread. Chekov's Nipple Ornament was a great plot device.

You really love this show.

I miss early Nikita. It was much more enjoyable with Nikita fighting against her old friends as a lone outsider with some help.

Now that you've reminded me of that, I feel silly.

In the post for last week's episode, someone mentioned how The Three Crichtons would drive people with biology background crazy.

I've been pleasantly surprised from time to time by some of their picks.

Her language skills are impressive. Fluent in English, Danish and French.
I wonder if that sort of thing is common in actors who trained in Europe.

I'm in love with the general Scandinavian aesthetic.

No, it's not bleak at all. But it's definitely on the more realist end of the spectrum compared to The West Wing.

Also:

The show this is most said to similar to is the West Wing.
Ignore those comparisons. They're only vaguely similar.

I'll probably do that then. As someone who's horribly impatient with just about everything, I like this idea.
