Last week I watched The Event & then this show on Hulu. The clear winner was Lone Star. The cable-esque qualities, story & acting hooked me much better than "Where did the plane go!?" Hopefully others made the switch to justify more episodes.

I choose to believe it's just another set-up for a Funny Or Die video.

Audition Ep
The pacing seemed like it was on crack. Was I supposed to know who the other two judges were? They needed some introduction.. Food snob guy who isn't Ramsay opened up a bunch of Italian restaurants? OK…which ones; where? Fat not-Ramsay…anything?

Gullibility, Ignorance & Paranoia
The episode was somewhat annoying, mainly due to Ellie. She's an MD & she falls for the same ploy as Jamie Lee Curtis' bored housewife from True Lies. The sputtering inability to communicate information doesn't seem like the sort of quality you would find in a doctor either, at least…

…and for half a second I thought it might have been Pretty Fly for a White Guy.

I expected some Zeppelin song. Though Rock of Ages does share a name with an actual hymn.

Horrible waste of Christopher Lloyd. Can't help but think the show would have thrown in some more references for fun in earlier seasons.

The "Season 2 preview" at the end of the episode showed a flash of evil Charlie looking tied down with a needle going for his jaw - so yeah, I'm guessing they figure it out sooner/later, and jam him full of muscle relaxer to get his "real" face. Though botox to tense him up might be funnier.
