Huh. I was not expecting that vibe. I thought the character had a couple good moments but was kind of whiny and sullen (albeit with good reasons). Plus, the show is so overstuffed at this point I found it hard to invest in a new character.

I watched this episode with my girlfriend, and the first thing she said after that ending was "Only in Portland."
That actually did happen in S4 of Portlandia - both Silas Weir Mitchell and Danny Bruno showed up in bit parts. Not playing their Grimm characters, but there was some fun shade thrown since they met Bruno's character near a beaver dam.
They should look to what Sleepy Hollow did with Dark Katrina this season as an example of what not to do. That was not good at all.
Excellent observation.
And do they ever get explained? No.
He did have puppies that Bobby adopted, and presumably took with him to Georgia.
You have to admire their commitment to the bit that Ellie would actually hire movers to fake out Jules.
Wow. I didn't even know they were dating. That adds a whole new ugly side to his leaving the show between seasons.

Good catch!
Poor Abed.
Penny Cannnnnnn!
I'll try pitching that and see if anyone's into it.
I laughed out loud when that happened on last Friday's Grimm. It was the most gloriously inelegant move ever.
Glad to know someone was bearing the torch. It was people like you that convinced the Powers that Be it was worth reviving the coverage.
Aw, thanks. :)
They did introduce a tortoise wesen back in season two: http://grimm.wikia.com/wiki…
It going to SyFy makes some sense given that the network is part of the NBCUniversal corporate family. Hell, SyFy aired a burnoff marathon of Do No Harm at one point. (Which I watched all of.)
May 11 is when their upfront is scheduled, according to TV By The Numbers. I'll be surprised if we hear something before then unless SyFy or someone else decides to make a big splash by picking it up.
