Sadly I have not seen "Lord of War" and couldn't make that comparison. Worth seeing?

She's amazing. Her character journey remains one of the most fascinating parts of Banshee.
Gordon really does feel like nature's punching bag at this point.
I would definitely say this season premiere is a good starting point as there's a lot of baggage that got cleared away after S1. I recommend watching the pilot to get a feel for how things got to this point, but between that and a "previously on" segment it's not too hard to get caught up. But I would still say watch…
I WANT SAMUEL L. JACKSON ON THIS SHOW SO MUCH NOW.
Aw, thank you!
Agreed as well - that first scene where they were just lounging in bed together had a very comfortable, lived-in feel to it.
Burton is sensational, and easily one of my favorite parts of the show. I hope they never feel the need to give him a background beyond what we've seen, because the air of mystery is great.
He did indeed! I was hoping to put that in the essay but couldn't make it fit.
It's a perennial family favorite. I tend to watch it with my family every year at Christmas.
I stopped watching this year due to lack of time (and tediousness of season three), and then everything I heard convinced me I was better off not going back.
Congratulations on your first comment!
I was frankly stunned they didn't have a flashback to Abby and Olivia back when Chip was originally abusing her.
"It's the Great Blumpkin, Charlie Brown!"
Well either way, I'm still outraged.
I heard it at the mustache parade they have every year.

The end!
And of course Parks and Recreation regularly goes to that same well with the Pawnee town hall meetings.
That review doesn't have a family!!!
