Complete agreement with everything you said. God this was a frustrating finale - no reveal on Captain Renard's past, neither Hank nor Juliette being fully drawn into Nick's world (somewhat but not nearly enough), and those goddamned magic Greek coins. I don't mind so much that they left it on a cliffhanger re: Nick's

That drove me crazy that she vanished for three-four episodes, and then her scenes with the cat got no resolution. Thankfully she's been added to the cast full-time, so hopefully every episode will have her for now on.

And with the death of Sammy, Emily loses one of her horcruxes.

That would make Ghost Sammy then?

I was skeptical last week about Micheletto's background - no problems with the character being gay, I just feel giving him a past detracts from how the character is used - but the subtext it gave that glance was terrific. Savonarola has made a very dangerous enemy in his faith.

I think that's the right way to phrase it: in the moment. Alexander tends to be short-term in the good things he wants to do, but never really able to get past his true nature.

I actually like Juan more than others do - true the character exists to be more of an antagonist than an actual character, but I like the ways they use him as an antagonist and I don't think David Oakes' performance ever crosses too fully into hammy.

I think it really boils down to what Alexander always says: "One son in armor, one in the cloth." His image is all about creating a Borgia dynasty - he wants Cesare to eventually succeed him as pope, and Lucrezia's son to be groomed to follow in his uncle's footsteps. It's been a recurring part of his character that

"That'll cost a fortune! WE HAVE A TERRIBLE DATA PLAN!"

Phew, I'm not insane.

I thought that voice sounded familiar! Just couldn't place it.

Pop POP!

Especially considering each Community season has about 3-4 duds that Dan Harmon completely acknowledges are because they run out of ideas. I think Community would thrive on a tightened order.

Glee is an hour-long Ryan Murphy bukkake. Whether or not you define that as drama or comedy is personal preference.

I'm sorry, that Kevin Williamson/Kevin Bacon pilot sounds like a rejected plot for a season of Dexter. And given the plots for Dexter that get used, that just makes it even worse.

Correction has been made.

I think there were a couple hints here and there - particularly in his words to Paolo - but nothing this direct before. Hence one of my problems, this story seemed to come out of left field.

No, that was another prostitute who Juan hired to keep an eye on Paolo. We saw the two of them talking when Paolo and Lucrezia met. "Is that what it's like? Love?" "I suppose so." "I'll save myself for business then."
