@Sajanas

SPOILERS

I think it blew up so dramatically, because it was nothing but fuel. Hence, the "proof".

Actually, the military guy and the slutty, vindictive secretary were the two most sensible plot lines.

@Laura
Now I have to rewatch the episode when Cordelia wakes up. I can't remember if she was watching from somewhere else, or if she was inside.

SPOILERS

@Sajanas "why is California the World Ending Demon dump?"

@boredintern

@tear I think the issue is more that murder is bad. Outside of true blood, killing somebody because they happen to smell good is frowned upon.

@vader jason still dreamed about Eddie after he was dead, so maybe not.

I could buy them wanting to kill vampires. If I lived in Bon Temps I'd be pretty down with vampire killing by now. There's that whole youtube channel about vampire attacks.

Family of Blood?

@centurion
I figured it would be something like that, too. What I don't understand is, she was scared enough to call social services, but somehow shocked that the children were taken away? Did she think they would just come over and bake cookies?

I thought the random baby hanging out was the most ridiculous thing ever. First of all a seemingly healthy baby with no parents or paperwork, and everybody just goes home???

Potentials are supposed to be identifiable by a birthmark. Buffy had hers removed. In the modern world, fewer parents are willing to hand over their daughters to mysterious old men, so if a girl still has parents, watchers train her by infiltrating her school.
A lot of the potentials did have watchers, but those were

Buffy's revival destabilized the slayer protocol somehow. That's why the first had a chance to wipe out all the slayers. Buffy is dead enough that the First can take her image.SPOILERS

I was pretty pissed at that too. I side with Tara on this. Not to mention, he killed her fairy godmother the night before. I would be happy if they just explicitly state that Sookie is a soulless monster and be done with it.

This episode made me realize that even Jason gets hit by Sookie's forcefield of sucking. Last week the man was running through the woods being chased by a pack of panthers, and managed to throw them off his scent, make a spear, and kill one from a tree. This week he was back to being barely verbal.

@courtbright
imho:
Bill knows Eric is there. He can probably smell him on Sookie. He can also sense her emotions, so he would know that she was panicked and lying. His comment on how she's never lied to him, is him realizing that their relationship is over, and she cares enough about eric to lie about him.

Having slept with French men, I'm willing to concede that Picard is really boring in bed.
