My favorite Jack Kirby story is that a bunch of Nazi sympathizers turned up at the Timely offices one time wanting to see the guy who does Captain America, expecting to merely be threatening, and Kirby stormed down ready to fuckin rumble because he wasn't gonna take that.

The expression on Bugs' face when he's got Elmer in the chair always makes me laugh. I don't know exactly what that face is meant to convey, but it's hilarious.
