Since apparently Lacuna Coil sucks, but I happened to like that clip in the article (musically, anyway), where would one go for better versions of that sort of thing?

Just don't taunt them, whatever you do. Or feed them after midnight.
Yes. I was amazed at how much stuff, even early on, seemed to be used as a place to build from later. The school bit in particular, which I expected to see Zach bash on as a waste of time that could have been spent on the bigger plot. And yet [VERY MINOR SPOILER] the school turns into a big plot point in an episode…
SPOILER
I liked the fact that Bashir was played as overeager and unseasoned. Starfleet officers we run into may be assholes sometimes, but they always seem to be about to turn 50, no matter their apparent physical age.
So many, many wonderful lines from plain, simple Garak.
Damn straight. Good gospel music is the tits.
Sheesh, it's just naked people having sex. A lot of hentai is just like ordinary 'merican style porn.
Peter and the Starcatchers, dammit.
Nixon: "Sh*t".
Hey now. Bad 80's hair aside, Linda Hamilton was quite fetching.
I want to LIKE this whole thread.
Networks scrambling to make a lot of shows kind of similar to the most recent hit is hardly new. So Glee's safe from that one.
Better, yes. But Dave's vocal is indeed still lacking (plus the lack of Anthony). That chorus needs more oomph and it just kinda lies there.
One break, cominnnnngggg up!
Indeed. "A Man Alone", which I just watched, is fairly lame, but superior to almost anything in TNG's first season. And it's already setting up something that will be called back in a later ep.
@E.Buzz Miller CBS? You mean Paramount.
Interesting. Aside The Secret (which is awful), I thought Bashir's growth from callow hot shot young officer looking for adventure was well done.
I dunno about that one. You'd want a diplomat to help get a planet ready to join the Federation, especially one with hotheads like Kira. And it's not like Picard was some shrinking violet.
It's funny to read a B5 fan griping about DS9's acting. And I liked B5. I liked it a lot. But it's acting (aside from the ambassadors) was passable at best and often dire. I'm amazed it got past the awful first season (But S2-4 were extremely compelling and well worth a sci-fi fans time).
