And they hooked up for a while, too. Lucky bastard. Almost as lucky as Alexis Denisof.

Erg. I liked both shows, and B5 was often some pretty awesome TV. But JMS was never good with dialogue in general, and his attempts at humor…<shudder>.
I have a soft spot for "The Magnificent Ferengi" as well. But so many others were so dire…
The thing that bugged me on a re-watch was that it took Dax all of 5 minutes to get a good idea of where the Celestial Temple was. The Bajorans had been picking these things up for thousands of years, and had only been occupied for the last 60 or so. You'd think someone would have already figured this out.
I would suggest that part of the purpose of the scene was to set Sisko up as a bad-ass in his own right. Yes, people have stood up to Picard before, but as Trek fans we come in thinking of Jean Luc as this awesome guy, and to see a Fed officer growl and not back down to The Picard is intended as shorthand for "this…
A valid point, as is @avclub-23a7d6e6d912bb3b2bc8d16576333d27:disqus 's, but the animators at least have a category don't they?
Entitled pricks can still do good work.
I would knock the Serkis campaign a couple of notches closer to tolerable, and Beauty and the Beast 3D up towards irritating. Serkis because the man deserves some "official" recognition for his work, and that would do until we get a category for motion capture work, and BatB3D because the old one was fine, tacked on…
You're a funny guy, Poop Shoot. I kill you last.
I just re-watched the pilot a couple of weeks ago and was surprised at how good it was. I remembered it being a little creaky, except for Kira being awesome. But it was actually very solid. Much better than TNG's pilot.
I can't laugh at this particular train wreck anymore. At some point, things become too pathetic and sad.
Quentin Tarantino should totally remake this movie. Except it would probably have a lot more blood and a lot fewer breasts. I'm good with the more blood, but not so happy about the fewer breasts.
Bastards are just toying with us now.
Has there ever been a good song that has come of this sort of thing? And I don't mean Weird Al type stuff.
I've seen some games where I'd believe that is indeed the case.
Makes me party…
I realize the brain does strange things with associations sometimes, but this is just fucking weird.
The notion that Van Halen or the Scorpions were hair bands is utter delusion. They were their own thing, and shouldn't be blamed or tinged with the shame that comes from having lesser talents try to ape their stuff in a more top 40 radio friendly way.
I liked that show. I was also twelve.
For fuck's sake…are we supposed to be hate people based on their worst, most scum sucking fanboys (and girls)? Bugger off.
