Well, Marcie was clearly into Patty, but Patty was clearly into Charlie Brown. This strikes me as a problem for the 'ship, though putting Patty and Marcie together is something I've seen a lot of.

I prefer Stewart's one man reading/performance to the live action one. Partially, I suspect, because Stewart plays all the parts and so EVERYONE is incredibly awesome. I listen to it every year. So good.

Plot hole, if you ask me. She sounds younger than him in the Stewart reading, which I bet is more faithful to the Dickens.

My son's music class did that in 5th grade. It was shockingly well done. You know, parent blinders and all, but I was surprised. I made the coffin for the Ghost of Christmas Future section, and the kids danced on the thing for "Thank You Very Much." IT was teh awesome, because I'd never seen that bit before.

Not to forget the Super-Enterprise showing up, blasting the other ships to bits with a couple of shots, PLUS the fact it came in at a 90 degree angle (as opposed to all the other times when every ship occupies the same plane and orientation despite being in deep space. Drove a lot of nerds crazy). I've said this

I find it funny that lot of people lobbied for him to do DS9, but almost no one has asked for Voyager or Enterprise.

Didn't they always use the EXACT SAME CUT when they needed "Rock" music? Or was that Adam-12?

David's a big guy.

Indeed. We don't hold with mixin' letters in this town, Mr. Jovi. We ain't letterist (Hell, some of my best friends are lower case), but upper and lower cases generally keep to themselves. Folks prefer it that way.

In my day, we didn't have an internet to create and distribute memes. We had to do it the hard way, verbally, and using the memeograph machine. A lucky few had access to their parent's work Xerox.

I stand corrected. I was going off the review, which didn't make it sound funny at all.

This is interesting. Sounds like the film is being done as a straight up drama. Our very good local theater (Zachary Scott, represent!) is doing it as a black comedy, which is is my impression of how the original play (translated from the French!) was intended. We got to see a working rehearsal of the opening scene,

I don't think he's underrated per se, but he's kind of in that "oh yeah" category. You don't always think of him when people talk about the greats, but if someone does bring him up, you won't get much if any argument about it.

I was pitching watermelons in South Texas, so it was a Spanish music station. I can't hear an accordion without an accompanying whiff of rotten melon. No joke.

Future Enterprise was a big heapin' helpin' of fan service. And long overdue. The Big E endured many insults over the years for the plot. It was nice to see it get some of its own back.

"You are, and always shall be…our reviewer."

Berman interviews deserves a lot of props.

There are a lot, but here's a very quiet one.  Spoilers.

Say what you will about Vulcan mysticism, at least it's an ethos.

No "It's a Wonderful Life"?
