Sooo….it's a *reality* show where they follow both the law and the law breaker? They aren't even trying to pretend anymore, are they?
For the longest time I had these guys confused with the Mother Truckers.
The food's all right too. But yeah, the booze…
Be nice if they actually made a movie out of the book instead of just grabbing some names. Or made another movie. Bill the Galactic Hero is probably available. Put that and a serious Starship Troopers on a double bill, that'd be something.
Dallas had its effects. One of the first, if not the first of the prime time soaps. And wasn't Dallas like the most popular American TV show overseas? People in Bulgaria loved Dallas!
Erm, I think you mean Rudolph's mom, unless there is something about reindeer physiology I'm uninformed on.
This was always a weird thing. In the song it's even worse. Not to mention that God-awful opening line asking you if recall the most famous reindeer of all. Excuse me?
This basic plot idea was done a helluva lot better in the old animated series episode "Yesteryear." Spock goes back in time to help out his younger self.
I thought the same thing.
I thought equal rights was about being allowed to make choices. Including choosing to be dominated. Or are they okay only if they are the correct choices?
An important part of Dorn's comedy on TNG et. al. is that his coming at it from the "only sane man" area. Despite his enormous number of funny lines, he always seems to be playing the straight man.
Hmmm….
Dude they told us it was coming a week or so ago some other article about…something, I forget what now. You gotta read ALL the comments to keep up around here.
I quit suffering through stuff I would otherwise enjoy if I wasn't trying to be macho about it around thirty. There's hard core and there's masochistic.
Bombadil is a complete stoppage of the narrative at a point where the narrative has already literally gotten lost in a forest (I have never cared for the tale between Buckland and Bree). Oh, he's not uninteresting. Though he does undercut the idea of the supreme corruptibility of the ring, since he cares nothing for…
It's just insane to try and watch LoTR extended as a TV show or in a theater without multiple built-in intermissions. I mean c'mon. I'm getting the EE on Blue-Ray eventually, so I'm not hating the thing, it beats the theatrical version by a lot, but even a hard core nerd like me can't do it in one sitting.
List is FAIL without mentioning the Longhorn - Aggie game at 7CST. One of the biggest rivalries in college…
Mmmm, Kari…Almost every science nerd's dream.
In different ways! Using more and more explosives, just to be sure! And finally we wrap the entire car in 10 layers of duct tape, shoot it with bullets to see if the tape will stop them, then blow THAT up too! Why? SCIENCE!
