I think people's gripe about part 2 is the (SPOILERS AHOY!) utter ineffectiveness of the Big Zap we had been building up to in Part 1. There are in fact very good reasons for that, but after all the build-up I think people wanted to see something blowing up real good, even it if ultimately failed to stop the Borg.…
