Well done on internet arguing 101, O'Neal: by saying "some of you are going to flame this" doesn't mean that people who think this is going to suck should shut up.

Further proof that Jonah Hill has excellent blackmail information on Apatow and Rudd?
I'm in the same boat as Garbo (I even have the cassette of "Golden Feelings" and the 10" with the fingerpainting) and I admit I'm probably in a minority on this issue. Neither man has done anything particularly interesting in 10 years or so, and I think both of their best work came on their "first" albums (Slanted,…
Agreed. It's a great film.
I think 3 is my favourite sequel, because of boobs and an excellent sense of fun and gore and all that good stuff.
One of the Honey, I…sequels was written by MST3K maestro Joel Hodgson. I tried to defend it for a while, then gave up.
I was as big a fan of his as you'd find, then started reading "The Boys" and the bloom went off the rose very quickly. I just felt like saying "okay, we get it. You don't like superheroes very much, but are forced to write stories with them in it to pay the bills".

Around the time Monk finished, Scharpling became unbearable, I thought. Constantly going on about "haters" even though they were effectively invisible and he was a popular, successful guy.
You can't fault Chase for that. Fault him for every other shitty thing he's ever done.
Drive is a great film, about a hundred times better than the Rush Hours of this world. Review it, I say! Or it might be better suited to New Cult Canon (it's really, genuinely good).
I really, deeply, hope they do something else with House other than hey! addiction!" Give the poor bastard a relationship, at least for a few episodes.
That would be a great ending. Like she just pops into shot in one episode, Ted says, "that was it", the kids rush for the toilet, the end!
This is the sort of episode that makes me want to give up on it, fake drunkenness and all. Damn it!
"Wherever you come down on…"
In other words, "even though our review of Kick-Ass made it sound awful, turns out everyone else liked it enough to give Vaughn the job of directing the comeback film of the biggest superhero franchise of the last decade".
The Tennant Hamlet is pretty awesome, enjoyed the lovely HD presentation on TV at Christmas-time. Well recommended.
Schmiddy!!
"Real fans"? Dear me.
