I bought League 2009 this week more out of curiosity than anything else, as League 1969, for me at least, marks the point where Moore jumped the shark. The shark is still jumped, but 2009 does redeem some of the lowest points. The ending text story is still completely indecipherable, and from what I can tell, it

I liked the book, but they dropped the ball for the movie.

Moore has, unfortunately, jumped the shark, if League 1969 is any indication. League 2009 is better, but not by much.

Rushmore. The only reason I couldn't leave in the middle was because I was watching it on a bus. For years, I refused to see anything with Jason Schwartzman until "Scott Pilgrim" and "Bored to Death" proved that he was actually a good actor. I've since come to realize that it's Wes Anderson I dislike, not Schwartzman.

Ed also mentioned someone who should be on Random Roles—Yaphet Kotto.

The Justice Society is missing… which is good, because if DC actually tried, it would make a great franchise. Set the first movie in the 40s and the second in the modern day when the veterans unite with the legacies.

I'm still Jewish; it's one of the least "in your face" of the religions in that proselytizing is forbidden, so you don't have old men in black hats knocking on your door wanting to tell you about Moses. (The Chabad don't count; they just proselytize to other Jews.) I stick with it due to cultural ties and issues

My all-time best panel would be Phill Jupitus, Sean Lock and Rich Hall, with Dara O'Briain, Bill Bailey and Jo Brand as alternates.

FUCK YEAH Yaphet Kotto. Admittedly the only things I know him from are "Alien" and "Live And Let Die", but considering I didn''t know any of Austin Pendleton's roles apart from "The Muppet Movie", I'm sure there's a lot to ask him about.

The "Son of Dolemite" sketches are ridiculously good.
