It's not the holiday season until I hear that. Of course, I live in NYC so it doesn't take very long but still.

I'm not sure I'd put "Hudsucker" number 1, but that movie doesn't get the credit it deserves. 20 years later, it still cracks me up and a friend and I still quote it to each other.

I saw a pissed off bartender, when asked by a guy for an appletini, take a Granny Smith Apple, put it in a martini glass, cover it with gin and snarl, "Here."

For what it's worth, Monaghan sold out years ago. It's now owned by Bain Capital, Mitt Romney's old company.

Hingle McKringleberry. The favorite of my 11 year old and his friends. Although they never (alas) get tired of "Nevada State…Penitentiary."

Peele's bitter mother?

No. You're as cold as ice. He's hot blooded. Which I think is the crux of why you were willing to sacrifice your love.

Nothing personal, but I hate you. Now that song - which I forgot - is stuck in my head. Thanks so much.

The one flaw in your reasoning is that, even if you went to Julliard, you could work outside of school as a musician while on scholarship. You could control and sell your image. If someone was willing to pay, you could sell your autograph. All the things athletes can't do.

There are a lot of talented musicians. My point was that, whether you like them or not, KISS has sold more albums and been more influential than he has. The Hall has always been subject to the whims of Jann Wenner and, to a lesser degree, the critics. But there comes a time when you have to acknowledge continued

I attended a major sports school and you're not exactly right. First, you don't get a four year scholarship - you get a series of one year scholarships that can be cancelled at the whim of the coach/athletic department. The team recruits a bumper crop of running backs, you're out. Which leads to the second problem

Nah, my grandfather's coffin, when you opened the lid, would say, "shut the door."

Young

He's off the terrorist list. Now he's on the irritating whiny singer-songwriter no-fly list. It's why James Taylor won't leave the country.

"More than a Feeling" by Boston?

I don't like KISS, but they deserve to be there. Longevity? They've got it. Influence? They pioneered the big stage show and have influenced lots of bands (some even good.) If John Mellencamp, who had, to be honest, a seven year stretch of importance at best is in, then KISS deserves it.

"At the end of the day, a man wants some petit-fours."

Um, the woman who wrote "Anne of Green Gables"?  Oh wait, she's dead…

Her acceptance speech has been leaked.  She won't let that beef with Chris Brown go.  Although you have to appreciate her sticking up for her fellow Canuck.

I think they go by Mexico Classic now.
