You forgot Breakin', Heathers and Howard's End.

Seagram's Golden Wine Coolers, thank you very much.  Also, anti-drug PSAs.  The irony…

"Luke, Leia, I made the phonebook!"

No, I think that was just a joke like, "you could've gone home, crashed and then slept with your hot wife.  Instead, you get Pete."

I remember "Aunt Mary" too.

There are 6.415 metric seasons.  Duh.

It's not the smartest way but, as several other posters have commented, it's not that easy to come up with something on the fly.  Anyone who's had a 3 year old knows that the end justifies the means sometimes.  Cruel as this sounds, a dementia patient, unlike a 3 year old, isn't going to progress intellectually so

I think it was "Shaw," and he came up with the weird spelling.  Like he calls up his cousins everytime he gets an invitation and says, "It's CHAOUGH now, is that so hard?" and they all do it on purpose to piss him off.

Burt realized he was denying his roots and went back to his original name - Dave Berg

Agreed.  Niedermeyer follows through on his sadism.

@eric827:disqus Who else would understand an old car better?

To second what the others have said, you're comparing apples and oranges.  In the early 1990s, I took my old Datsun 810 to a mechanic. Guy sitting there said, "Great car, but I can't buy one.  I served in the Pacific theatre and can't get past it," and that was 25 years after Mad Men.

Three words - Anthony. Michael.  Hall.

Ginsberg may not have been dirt poor, but he was born in a DP camp to survivors and that apartment is a classic South Bronx cold water flat.  He may not have been so po' he couldn't afford the other o and the r like Don, but he's as hungry.

If it's the West 80s, it will take until the late 1980s before it really goes up.  Even into the 1990s, the blocks were hit or miss north of 79th.

Who doesn't love a night of "Hide the Ottoman?"

I thought he was trying to do electrical work and got a jolt.   Which is even stupider, since you can cause serious damage with that.

@avclub-7ee8e2fdc6652f2351e0bf3cd9a1a4be:disqus I thought Gleason was art director.  Ted was creative and Campbell was accounts.

It was weird.  When I was in Malaysia in the 1990s, they were really (I mean obsessively) into Yngwie J. Malmsteen whereas Thailand was big on reggae bars.

@avclub-bf48f439bf2a843bcfe045c71321f09a:disqus I thought in Russian community Bennigan's loves you…never mind, I'll show myself out.
