After slogging through a long New Year's Eve's workday, the last thing I want to do is freeze my ass off watching The Countdown downtown, and the local bar is dead, usually. MIGHT stop by after midnight.

Damn, I wish Feiffer was still doing his weekly cartoon. Some weeks it was the only thing that made The Village Voice buyable. I had a collection of his stuff a long time ago, lost it in a flood. I'll have to look it up on Amazon, though I'm sure it's a king's ransom by now.

Also a really great parody of it in an 1960's issue of MAD which I've got around here someplace. Featured Jack Kennedy and the Free World vs. the Soviet Bloc, all dancing around the UN.

Buy yourself a copy of Candide, original cast album if possible. Forgotten classic, although they did a remake with Chita Rivera (swoon).

And Injustice For All is free! But now the damn system is down again.

The only place that's treated Gail Kim right is TNA, brother.

Action that would

Black Mirror counts, right?

Watched Maleficent. Beautiful. Can't really tell where the SFX ends and the real life begins, which is the best test for FX.

He was always an asshole, and a Christmas jailing doesn't surprise me much.

Tonight I finally get a chance to watch Maleficent and do some damned laundry.

Been Netflixing all day. Black Mirror is the shit, better than Twilight Zone. Why isn't there more Stand-up on Netflix? Everything seems designed to terrify.

I remain solid in my faith in Gail Kim and ODB, even though ODB hasn't been on in awhile.

Go ahead, throw your vote away!

Um, no—- Scrooged.
