Can someone recommend a good starting place for SOA? I've been hearing about this for ten years now, and I've never really bothered with it. Like Homeland, it's the sort of thing I'd watch if it were one season long, but the sheer volume defeats me. It's like starting a Russian novel, daunting.

The Eartha Kitt version is . . . tolerable, in small doses. Just keep me away from the Madonna cover.

Reading this show's defenders really makes me glad I don't have HBO.

I figure Lorne is subscribing to the NY Post these days.

TIIIIN ROOF!

Not a rip-off of Howard Stern's Private Parts, a Horrible Movie?

I didn't know about the couch detective show; I was a happier man then.

If Hitler had played Civilization, he'd never bothered with war. He know that fucking Gandhi would beat him every time.

Naw mang, just blow into the end.

"Elf shot the potion!"

I've seen that guy somewhere.

Why they call it a "cold" open.

"Cmon Marge, less artsy, more fartsy!" I say this anytime I eat chili.

Tried Adult Swim's Heart She Holler On Demand, but recent months have taken a toll on my tolerance for mean, ugly, hardcore pessimism claiming to be "comedy". Tried to watch a show on the other end, Peter Pan— couldn't sit through that, either. Is Christopher Walken an animated corpse?

Well fuckity boo, this is helping my winter depression HOW?

Seems the "point" of adapting the comics is so some nerds can say to their parents, "See dad, it really WAS an important thing!" Fuck it, just read the comics, not everything has to be adapted.

Can Gaiman stop taking meetings and just fucking finish The Sandman mini-series already?

Wonder Woman was secretary for the Justice League.

What, and waste all that time?

I shoulda read your remark before posting mine.
