This was probably my favorite episode of Bebop, or at least the most emotionally affecting. To just not talk about that ending… yeah. Don't really know what to say about it.

That would have been a really cool angle if they'd pursued it further. It's pretty dark, even for this show.

My thoughts exactly. Season 3 feels so scattered in comparison to the sustained brilliance of 2. And the climax really didn't live up to the show's self-induced massive expectations.

The title of the season finale shown on-screen was "The Partings of the Ways". It was shown in this really science-fiction-y font, I think the same one they used for titles and credits in Battlestar Galactica. Also, it's very similar to the season 1 finale title of the rebooted Doctor Who, "The Parting of the Ways".

I gave this an 'A', but only for the review. Swell job, Todd.
