"California Love" - Tupac & Dr. Dre. Look deep into your hearts, you know deep down this is the correct answer.

*Raises hand* As of now my cable company has the east coast feed of FXX, so i got it at 7 on the West coast, and they moved FXX from out of the sports package into the "starter" package, or "extended basic" or whatever the fuck it is that i have. For the first time ever, i'm actually happy with my cable company.

I know fuck all about film making, but this certainly seems like its going to be an awesome feature. Thank you and please let it continue on into perpetuity.

Eminem's new single "Berzerk" is horrible. Its a bad Beastie Boys ripoff, and em is in full nasally yelling mode. I had to stop the track half way through, i couldn't make it till the end.

Man, i know i'm in the minority, but i love still standing every bit as much as soul food, maybe a little more. Both are criminally overlooked  and stone-cold classics, imo.

I'm a bit higher on "Doris" than you are, but i agree wit you 100%. I've been surprised that i keep going back to Ferg's album more than Earl's.

I don't know, i just love the whole feel of the album. Its so not anything like Rocky's release, and i appreciate the commitment to doing the album his way and not just sticking generic radio bait and high profile guest appearances on it. I mean, what other young upstart is going to put Onyx and B-Real on a track on

As @disqus_SHv8DoYfkF:disqus and @avclub-b953b57f0444e8773d7ba6ff82097d3a:disqus kind of alluded to, i'm not really including Channel Orange. I meant among the rap releases from OF. Should have been more clear on that.

Ok, I guess i'm going to have listen to the Carter III again, because i keep hearing people make this statement, and my memories of it were amazing production, but the first appearance of Wayne's descent into terrible lyricism. Personally, Dedication 2 was the last time i remember being impressed with a Lil Wayne

First off, I must say this is some fine passive-aggressive
trolling by the AV Club. Don’t review a single rap album for damn near 2
months, then unload 3 on the same day. Well played.

Ok, after 1 listen, i have to say that i agree with the review. This is a solid B album, very solid front to back. So nice to get some of that old Dungeon Family sound back, and hearin Cee-lo actually rap again was even better than i imagined. Very, very solid effort all the way around, and i look forward to some

Will finally get the chance to listen to this at work tonight, so i'll check back in with thoughts in roughly 6 hours.

Eh, B- seems a little generous. There were definite moments of growth and sophistication on this that weren't present on Finally Famous, but still a few too many mailed in, radio-ready attempts to truly be a cohesive whole. I'd have given it a C, maybe C+. If he would have gotten the samples cleared for "Control, then

Granted, i'm not the most knowledgeable person about OddFuture, but i thought this was pretty damn solid. Best OF release of the few that i've heard.

@LemLemoncloak:disqus ^^^^

While we're at it, let's not leave out that Nas & Az collab album "The Essence", Clipse's "My Brother's Keeper", and the Blackstar reunion album.

I'll allow myself to dream about "10 the Hard Way" after we get "Act 2: Patents of Nobility" and "Detox".

I would love to seperate "Idlewild" from the rest of the Outkast discography. An ok soundtrack to a very mediocre movie, it just doesn't live up to the rest of Outkast's catalog. If Idlewild doesn't exhist, Outkast goes out a perfect 5-for-5 on classic albums, with their swan song being a grammy winning, Diamond

YES! I actually like a fair amount of Aesop's stuff, but everyone's obsession with JUST the lyrics is starting to drive me crazy. I'm really hearing people try to discredit Kendrick's verse by saying "he had some cool lines, but the only reason people like it so much is because of the delivery". To which I want to
