Still haven't finished the season. They don't even find out? Then why did he go and become a lumberjack? That makes no sense.

Pretty much this. The show had so much potential to be an insightful and eccentric behind the scenes of a Broadway play, and instead we get Debra Messing cheating on her husband and her godawful and annoying son, McPhee pouting constantly, and fucking Ellis. Who the fuck thought that guy would be a welcome addition to…
That's entirely possible. Either way, I really liked it.
Season four was actually my favorite. Lithgow was perfect as the big bad. But yeah, that show went downhill fast. Season 1 and 4 are great, 2 is pretty good, 3 was okay, 5 was bad, 6 was abysmal, 7 was okay, and I didn't actually finish 8 yet, I five episodes left and I've just had no desire to sit and watch them.…
I'm not dismissing all criticism, it's just something I heard almost none of when it aired.
Twice I've written out my response to see it deleted because either disqus or AVClub doesn't like when I use keyboard shortcuts, but my point is Community is/was a show that needed its fans to continuously tout its excellence because while critics generally enjoyed it, it didn't get the ratings a lot of shitty sitcoms…
Are you sure you don't mean Course Listing Unavailable? Curriculum Unavailable is excellent. Not that Course Listing Unavailable is bad either, just not great.
I don't even think there's that much of a drop off from two to three. I'd even say three's highs were better even if the season was less consistent.
I think the second and third seasons are its best seasons. How can anyone strongly dislike a season that has Advanced Dungeons and Dragons?
Perfectly said. Season three has some of the shows best moments and I found to be a pretty brilliant season of comedy. I probably got more laughs from Community that season than any other show, and Louie, Parks and Rec, and Archer all had great seasons that year too.

It's so weird. At the time everyone who watched Community loved it and then all of a sudden, everyone is talking about how great the show is so a few people have to decide, "Wait, I can't like something everyone likes," and now there's this criticism of it.
Well, I don't like a thing after Reasonable Doubt. At least he knows he peaked with his first album.
Maybe it's been showed before, but in one of the scenes with Blood, there was a machine with "Kord" on it. How long before Blue Beetle makes an appearance?
