I enjoyed the movie/pilot/whatever, but it was really obvious that it was done on a budget of about $5. The use of all of the green-screen for backgrounds made a lot of the scenes feel claustrophobic to me. I gave up on it about halfway through the last season, but my spouse still watches it so I see bits and pieces. I don't think they've ever quite topped the absolutely insane and physics-defying skydiving rescue of the unconscious dude.

FlashForward had some interesting ideas, but they were derailed by the stupid love triangle between the main character, his wife, and the English physicist guy. Every time that plot came back up, the show ground to a halt.

Given that they started out with the giant vat of oil about two feet away from the house, I'm thinking "good ideas" don't run rampant in that household.
