Isn't that how it is with all Superheroes though? I mean… that's a staple in all stories. We all wonder why people can't see that Clark Kent is Superman. It's so obvious. :)

This got a huge laugh out of me.
I'm really late to this because I watch this with my daughter and her schedule is crazy. I had to wait but Andre Braugher and Dennis Haysbert… together… it was too much. I have to go back and re-watch this episode because it was a delight. Their deliveries are amazing. Braugher needs to win everything.
As Audience Member said - it is and it was actually really well done.
Agreed. My daughter is 14. She read the books at about 11 ish? She knew what was coming at the end. As we drove home, it allowed me to bring up current events and how there are people out there willing to do such things. Hard lesson for sure but she's mature enough to handle it.
They did go with the original ending. I wondered how they would handle it. I thought they did it quite well actually. I didn't want them to gloss over the ending because it was horrifying to read it. And, as we can see in many of today's events, there are people out there willing to do that sort of thing. However,…
@avclub-cb3213ada48302953cb0f166464ab356:disqus You weren't alone in thinking that. hahaha.
Clearly falling asleep during last night's episode caused me to miss quite a bit! Will re-watch tonight.
I will forever watch her in ANYTHING because of her role on this show.
That line made me laugh so loud! It was awesome.
I don't know… I don't watch the show for reality. I don't watch much on TV because I want it based on reality. I like that they are a bit crazy.
I could have watched Cece walk in those heels for the whole show.
Wait… I came here to read how hot Chris Hemsworth was on SNL and how so many of us wish we were the chicken he was dating and I get politics?
I somehow thought the sketch was after the first Avengers movie. So Loki was still alive then. But the "ex" part was wrong because they clearly state in the movie that Jane had been moved to somewhere safe because we so didn't want her in Avengers!
It was definitely a mistake. I was laughing and my 13 yo daughter had no clue why (thank goodness!!!!).
Ummm Lana… hair down, maid uniform… sploosh… I mean she's a cartoon and all but damn.
The ex was born that way. Special case maybe. hahaha.
"…but it pronounced Dr. Kane." That was one of my favorite moments. I really enjoyed this episode. I often laugh out loud but I did more often during this one. The nakedness in the hot tub. haha. And where does Lana hide those guns? In her boots?
ISES was always a mess. They had a hard time doing undercover work right. Why did anyone think they'd all of a sudden succeed at being drug dealers?
Well played…
