This happened in North Carolina during a good part of the twentieth century…they didn't stop it until the 1970s. The good news is that a few years ago the state government agreed to finally offer compensation to those impacted by the eugenics program. They say it was for people with an IQ below 70 but it was pretty

I wish someone could make 18+ showings of some of these G and PG-rated movies so we can avoid the annoying kids who attend those things. And maybe get rid of most of the annoying-ass trailers. Seriously, just because I came to see a movie of some sort doesn't mean I want to see Boss Baby.

This is a big part of why I always go to the latest showing for a movie if possible. A vast majority of the people who go to the movies are the fucking worst.

I prefer to call it the Stairway to Heaven-Free Bird Line.

Not surprised that there are so many Waffle Houses in the country. You can't go anywhere in the Atlanta area without seeing a couple every few minutes. It's a business plan that worked well though. You have to admire the company for that.

Well, there was a huge Robin Hood craze in the early 1990s. All it gave us was Kevin Costner with a bad accent, a shitty Bryan Adams song and a mid-grade Mel Brooks movie (it does have plenty of laughs though…and it introduced Dave Chappelle to a big audience)

For British eyes only…..

Would you like to buy a monkey?

Letterman's traditional Santa style or JK Simmons' Santa with muscles - which massive white beard is better?

Anyone who claims that Steve Bannon isn't in some way sympathetic or supportive of white nationalism should remember that he constantly name-drops Jean Raspail's Camp of the Saints. And there's a very noteworthy reason why that novel isn't readily accessible in stores today.

For a place that hates fake news, Breitbart sure is good at promoting fake news.

"That's a good issue."

But how will we figure out what great catchphrases we can mockingly use? What will be the next "sad," "failing (name of media entity)" or "306?"

I've always loved how Matt Groening insists that the real life clown that Krusty the Klown is based off of was nothing like the sleaze that Krusty is when off-camera. Although I bet lots of clowns would do that in their spare time.

Actually, there are two such magazines in Married With Children. Big 'Uns and Black Big 'Uns.

I wish the satire or parody genre would do better. Then again, after so many years of good ones from Mel Brooks, the ZAZ team and the like, it's as though the genre is bare. I think Black Dynamite might be the last such movie of its kind I can think of that did it right.

What, no mention of Gravity Falls magazines? Gold Chains for Old Men, Lady Swimwear, Fully Clothed Women, Avoiding Eye Contact Monthly, etc.

I'm pretty certain Playpen was popular simply for how it's similar to Playboy but still different enough. But it does remind me of Morley Cigarettes.

Boys have a remote. Girls have a tuner.

I love how it's more of a mockery of disco culture when you really consider the lyrics.
