Although I do consider Zootopia to be the best movie I have seen in the first half of the year, I really wish that animated films these days would stop using the same old cliches like the "big dance to pop song at the end" trope or the "something flies up in the air in a blatant attempt to use 3D effects" gag and all

On a related note, do check out UMO's three albums if you haven't done so. I've seen the band three times already and they put in great live shows too. If you're into lo-fi 70s-inspired psych rock then you will love UMO.

It is tragic when Todd Bridges and Pauly Shore start acting like authorities to you who want you to clean up your life. But at least Todd Bridges has actually cleaned himself up, something that isn't all that easy for some washed up former child stars to do.

I wouldn't take anyone who naturally relies on all those dopey abbreviations like "Y R U" or "4 U" or all that seriously.

BILOXI!

I totally wonked that up. :P so who does the yellow M&M? Simmons is still on those Farmers Insurance ads.

I think it's awesome how even after winning an Oscar JK Simmons still does this M&M's commercial stuff.

You got two choices - a nonsensical story about candies or yet another story about the new Ghostbusters movie with the attempt to try and stir up more debate and/or controversy. Take your pick.

You can tell music videos have gone by the wayside when that Beavis and Butthead revival from a few years back had them riffing on MTV programs instead of music videos.

Sadly, you could replace "2002" with any year after that and it would still be accurate.

The 2016 VMAs also marks the first time that many of these videos will have actually appeared on MTV.

Especially considering how outrageous yet unique some of these figures could be. You know, Shadoe Stevens made hundreds of those commercials for Frederated and they're all unique.

One of my favorite things to do on YouTube is to check out old television advertisements; it's a cool time capsule to the past and some of these ads are just plain charming. And there's lots of them too, just look at the 80s Commercial Vault channel.

Bernouts and Nevertrumpers are a big part of why I think Gary Johnson will get enough poll points to participate in the debates. He will not carry a single state but he will get enough protest votes to clear the 15% threshold because apparently people in their own particular parties are refusing to accept the fact

The movie is especially unpredictable too; they are not wiling to put you in a false sense of security.

I was kind of suspicious about Popstar at first but the movie turned out to be hilarious. Just the right amount of absurdity mixed with more than enough satire.

I can't say I have heard of many of these movies but I do appreciate that you're highlighting them if only to give us some ideas. It's really tough to find movies in a city where there are fewer arthouse cinemas than there were in the past.

<simpsons meme="" to="" inflate="" vote="" totals="">I've said it before and I'll say it again - democracy doesn't work!</simpsons>

Back when Spore was a big deal, there were a lot of sentient penis monsters.

I suggest Zack Snyder think about making something with substance to make the flash worthwhile not be all "like those at these sexy male bodies and slutty ladies and blood and stuff and all that."
