I prefer "Planet Apes." I'm not sure exactly what they are, but I'm having fun trying to figure it out.

I got through 6 episodes so far; they're laying the groundwork— just stick with it.

No. They were looking for more of a "Duh, duh" idiot.

That's good. I am waiting for a friend before I get too far into them, but probably watched 10 minutes of the first one. I was kind of disappointed by something—  I'm not sure what. Something about the tone and the extended cut-away/flashback just didn't sit right with me. The extended flashback was also annoying and

I'm going to sound like an asshole here, probably, but I get the feeling that these experiences were retroactively colored by the break up "a couple months later." I mean, a major point of making out as young teens is to let hands wander. It's what you do as a teen. You touch each other's bodies, you explore, and so

Surely you meant "αpple."

As someone who frequently deals with college writing, I have decided to ask students what pretense is being put forward that led to the conclusion of "pretentious." Not because I hate that word specifically, but almost all of those stand-in words that have become vacuous filler (if that sounds like a contradiction,

The placement of the hyphen in "anti-badger hunting song" made me laugh.

Or just that he goes back to these early experiences as a way of explaining things to himself so he doesn't have to take responsibility.

I think Ida was a stroke of genius. It was, dare I say, meta in that without the methed out rest of the episode, we wouldn't feel any confusion about who she was, what she was doing there, or just what the fuck was going on. Her little appearance would only work within the structure of this specific episode.

Tilda Swinton is fun to watch. If you can watch it cheaply or for free, it's worth it for her parts (especially if you can fast forward). If you aren't invested in the comic, it's kind of enjoyable. Neat effects and all that…

The first episode I saw turns out to have been the first episode of the show. I loved it. Brock tearing ass around the inside of the hive, using the wipers to clear the blood from his windshield after he menacingly foreshadowed his rampage through gritted teeth: "They hit me with a truck…." Loved it. I've since lost

There would be one remote control just for pushing play,
And one even bigger to push stop.

I can since my TV has PIPIPIPIPIPIPIPIPIPIPIPIPIPIP.

Except "Borderline" by Madonna.

The Minotaur is just in a painting— it's not about the Minotaur in the same way it's about that other stuff, which it so is.

Full Metal Jacket is a movie made with a semicolon.

@avclub-4caf6aa0375b2499ebfe7e971b36eee3:disqus , in the middle ages, the church had banned the number seven as a wicked-number (Anglo-Saxon: "un-cúþ rím"), which made 14 a prime number by default.
