I usually just catch up with it on Hulu a day or two after it airs. It's not a show that gets hurt much by spoilers, and the conversations on the boards here is too overwhelming for me to really participate the night it airs.

Okay, seriously critics? This is pretty sad. First off, how does The Walking Fucking Dead get a nomination for program of the year? Additionally, how can you not give out a single nomination for two of the best (the best in my opinon) programs of the year, Hannibal or Enlightened? The Mindy Project and Elementary earn

Eh, do we really need to go through all that? Just dump it all on Hulu Plus at some point and I'll be happy.

@avclub-d72f705337e5adcf7e33ec0381c5f5b2:disqus Oh man, can we please do Rocky Horror style midnight screenings of Hannibal? And also Smash, for entirely different reasons.

I love Hannibal and stuck with Glee for three full seasons… because I'm a masochist apparently.

@avclub-236e42b5af241c85d97910f5c1aa6107:disqus I did find it kind of weird that none of them sniffed out the woman hiding under his bed…

In regards to one offs returning, Ellen Muth will apparently return in the next two episodes, so there's a bit of that.

That really sounds like the first act of a horror movie…

Yeah I was confused about that too, I didn't really get why walking a mile was any kind of issue.

I think the issue was that they kept piling on gags that Harmon had already overused in season 3, at least for me. Making the A plot of certain episodes center around Inspector Spacetime and the Darkest Timeline, for instance, was groan inducing because what works as a fun throwaway gag loses a lot of that fun when

But there are often lens flares in dark spaces or places unrelated to the lights (including the space scenes). I could understand the purpose if they were used more strategically but he overuses them so much it just seems like he likes lens flares.

I think it's far more likely that Mitch Hurwitz just actually liked Outsourced…

Oddly, the very next episode of Hannibal to air after the release of Arrested Development S4 featured a storyline involving face blindness.

Does Buster's episode reveal the Fakeblock thing? Damn I'd forgotten that, it definitely shouldn't be revealed prior to the first George Michael episode. I thought that episode's placement kind of broke up the momentum, and I kind of feel like giving the audience more Buster earlier on would make his general absence

@olivececile:disqus You're probably thinking of the finale, which is pretty Michael centric, and I believe has several scenes with Michael that don't involve George Michael.

While we're on the subject, what do you all think the best alternate order is? So far I'm thinking something like:

Yeah I thought it was going to be weird having the Michael episodes so front loaded, but he appears quite a bit in the last third of the season or so, and his story progresses quite far beyond the end of "B. Team". I still think they probably should have saved that episode for a bit further on in the run though. The

I thought the finale was pretty mediocre: people just seem to praise it as "great" because it didn't do anything to overtly piss them off. It felt pretty anticlimactic to me, though at least it was a better way to wrap things up than the season 4 finale.

If anyone here watches Awkward, it seems pretty clear to me that Molly Tarlov based her performance on Kim in this show (or the directors/writers directed her to act that way). She has pretty much that exact same mixture of defensiveness and sarcasm, and both actresses really nail that kind of attitude.

It should be expanding a lot more in a couple weeks. I'll be surprised if it doesn't turn out to be an arthouse hit like Mud that ends up expanding to a pretty large number of screens.
